The next big step – Ventuz 3.01 is available
February/22 2011We know you have been waiting for it: here it is!
Our new interactive documentation gives an in-depth method for new Ventuz users and seasoned pros alike to learn the software. From editors to best practices, nodes to properties, the new documentation leaves little unanswered. Best of all, with the new architecture, the documentation can now continue to grow as Ventuz does.
To use it, press Shift-F1 to activate the new Help Bar, then hover over whatever you wish to learn more about, whether node, window or editor. In addition, the help tool offers all sorts of tips and tricks, keyboard-shortcuts, best practices as well as a comprehensive set of new example scenes for every node. These example scenes will now open directly from the help system without you needing to switch projects, thus allowing you to copy and paste nodes or trees. Due to current political events, we’d also like to categorically state you are welcome to plagiarize any of these help scenes.
You can also find the documentation online. Just follow this link!
Touch Wood
February/21 2011We just got a touch interface from interactive scape for testing. The Berlin company provided us with a 46″ LCD touch table that looks pretty good so far.

First look over the table :
Ventuz works fine, great quality of the hardware, nice support from the manufacturer…. more to come !

The Price is Right
October/12 2010Just saw a price reduction on all Ventuz trainings from INCAS ! Seems to be nearly a third off !!!

Maybe a good chance to become a Ventuzian by robbing the piggy bank

International Ventuz Freelancer Database
September/20 2010Oftentimes we get the question whether we know any Ventuz Freelancers in a certain area. Usually, we don’t!
Which is why we are launching the International Ventuz Freelancer Database. If you are interested in being listed, please send your contact information to kg(at)ventuz(dot)com.
The IVFD will be an inhouse database to which we distribute inquiries that we get concerning Freelancers. Each listed Freelancer can decide by him/herself if he/she wants to answer an inquiry or not. No worries, we will not give your contact info to anyone without your consent or use it for anything illegal or annoying. Also, you are free to ask for removal from the list at any time.
There are plenty of Ventuz-jobs out there that are waiting for gifted Freelancers. It would be sad if these jobs would be lost just because the Ventuzians don’t find each other!
Here comes Michael..
February/23 2010May I introduce….
Michael Taraschweski, Ventuz trainer from INCAS. No clue what he is doing there but if looking up some picture details we find 4 HD screens, a radarTOUCH, Matrox TripleHeads, a wrapping of an ATI board, water and two oranges….
The oranges reveal that there will be something BIG… Hopefully the black screens are just the screensaver and not the result of his work

Ventuz @ Best of Events International
January/25 2010Hey everybody and welcome in 2010! It has been quiet for a long time… but we’ve been busy like hell, because it’s exhibition season. And we are not only visiting, we are participating!
After the test-baloon at the more or less local broadcast fair “Medientage” in Munich in October, we climbed the ladder and reached international grounds, even though the fair was still held in Germany.
To summarize it quickly….. Two very busy days and lots of great feedback.
We’ve been showcasing 7 interactive scenes on a 3 x 6 NEC LCD wall controlled by “RadarTouch”-Laser. Loading of the different scenes was managed via a holographic screen. On top of that, we had 4 awesome Eyevis cubes displaying Ventuz functionalities and one brand new VBOX for hands-on.
First impressions for those of you, who have not seen Ventuz on an exhibition yet!

Honestly, to our great surprise there were four other booth’s which were using Ventuz! And mostly companies we didn’t even know were our “customers”. One of them was using Express and never popped up on our radar. But they even came to our booth with their customers to show them the power and abilities of Ventuz. Looks like the concept of taking over the world by making Express freeware works out!
One example of another booth was Mediafloor (Pro customer)

The next chance to meet us on fair grounds is next week in Amsterdam at the ISE. There you can find Ventuz at the Eyevis booth. CU there!
